These terms apply when you use homeconnect-usa.com and related Home Connect USA pages. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to them.

What we do

Home Connect USA is a free matching service. We pass your request to up to 3 independent local companies that may serve your area. We are not a contractor and do not perform, supervise or guarantee any work. We do not set prices.

The companies are independent

Matched companies are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Any estimate, contract, price, schedule, permit, warranty or payment is strictly between you and the company you choose. You are free to hire no one. Before hiring, check the company's license, insurance and references yourself, for example with your state's contractor licensing board.

No cost, no obligation

Using our service is free for homeowners. Submitting a request does not obligate you to buy anything.

Calls and texts

By submitting a form, you agree that Home Connect USA and up to 3 matched companies may call or text you about your request at the number you gave, including using automated technology. Your information must be accurate

Only submit a request for yourself, with your own contact details, for a property you own or are authorized to arrange work on.

Limits

The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Home Connect USA is not liable for the work, products, prices, conduct or omissions of any company you are matched with, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

Lead credits for pros

These terms apply to businesses that buy prepaid lead credits from Home Connect USA. One credit pays for one homeowner request delivered to you. A lead is a homeowner inquiry only: we do not guarantee lead volume, appointments, hires or revenue. Minimum purchase is 5 credits. New pros may receive their first 2 leads free; free credits are tracked by us and have no cash value.

Invalid leads. A lead is invalid if it has a wrong or disconnected phone number or a fake name, duplicates a lead sent to you in the past 30 days, is outside the service area or trade you gave us, or the homeowner says they never made the request. Report an invalid lead within 7 days of delivery, with the reason, to [email protected]. If we confirm it, you receive 1 replacement credit (not cash).

Not invalid: the homeowner did not hire you, was price shopping or was slow to respond, or you did not contact them promptly.

Unused credits. You may request a cash refund of unused paid credits within 90 days of purchase, minus payment processing fees. Free credits are never refundable.
